Intro to Improv for Anxiety - In-person

It’s hard not to feel anxious these days, but it’s also hard to keep feeling as anxious when you’re laughing and playing and having fun! Let’s play your anxiety away!

WHO: You and a fun group of people who are also anxious about the class. (No experience necessary.)

WHAT: 4 x 2 1/2 hour introductory Improv for Anxiety classes, with games, exercises and laughs!

How is improv going to help me?

Improv gives you a fun place to explore all the wonderful self-help concepts and things your therapist has been telling you. Be in the moment, connect with others, judge yourself less, accept yourself and things as they are. But even more than that, improv is a chance to laugh and play and have fun. So you shrink your anxiety, by growing your joy!

What if I’m not good at improv?

No experience necessary. So, we know it’s hard to not put pressure on ourselves, but know that it’s an intro class, so honestly, you’re not expected to be good at all. It’s not like “Whose Line Is It Anyway” style performance games, it’s just play. You also don’t need to be funny, or witty, or not anxious, or anything else you might feel you have to be to take the class. You’re simply expected to respect yourself and each other. 

What if I have hundreds of other questions?

Just contact us, and we’ll be happy to answer. It’s a class with “anxiety” in the title, so we’re used to people wanting to know more (or being too anxious to message us at all).
